Emirates Fast Food Company is a subsidiary of Al Jazira Restaurants Development Company. Al Jazira Restaurants Development Company is a subsidiary of Al Jazira Enterprises for Project Development & Trading of Abu Dhabi. HH Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahayan owns Al Jazira. Emirates Fast Food Company started its operation with the first McDonald’s branch in Abu Dhabi in 1994 and gradually increased its branch count to reach 90 in 2010, 100 branches in 2011, and finally 117 branches in 2014.
