CaliBurger is owned and managed by CaliBurger, LLC. The brand was launched by a former In-N-Out manager who left In-N-Out to open a new brand named CaliBurger. The first CaliBurger opened in China with similar restaurant color theme and even the same In-N-Out “Animal Style” sandwich. After being noticed and sued by In-N-Out, CaliBurger tweaked its menu and theme to differentiate from In-N-Out. The brand operates the highest outlet count in China and southeast Asia.
