SmashBurger launched in Denver Colorado in 2007. The brand currently operates in seven countries; Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Kuwait, Panama, Saudi Arabia, and the US. There are only eight SmashBurger international locations, which are location in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Four locations in Kuwait and four in Saudi Arabia. The company has announced plans for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in May of 2013.
