Livestock Cooperative Society

established in 1/3/1981 by a group of Kuwaiti Livestock raiser. Its field of work covers all Kuwaiti areas and for unlimited date. The main purpose and aim of the Livestock Cooperative Society is to promote the economic and social positions of its members by maintaining cooperative principles listed in the cooperative Law. Fields of Activities 1- Procuring machines, tools, equipments and all requisites needed for livestock keeping and related activities. 2- Manufacturing food and animal products resulting from the activity of the society and marketing them in and out of Kuwait. 3- Raising Livestock for both meat and diary productions. 4- Procuring and maintaining fodder whether mixed or ready fodder. 5- Procuring fertilizers and medicines. 6- The society possesses several show rooms and supermarkets by means of which it offers chance to livestock raisers to market their production and buy their needs. 7- Organizing forums, conferences and delivering lectures in the fields of Livestock industry as to promote the quality of the Livestock raisers. 8- It takes also part in different activities such as conferences, forums, exhibitions in and out of Kuwait. The society is entitled to import its needs and requisites directly from abroad and to invest others capitals in its projects with less interests than what given to its members.
