«التجارية الأولى» تفتتح معرض «FOX» للملابس الرياضية

New Go Sport Location

Go Sport are opening a new location at Tilal Complex in Shuwaikh near City Center. The new store is located where “Beam” used to be right next to the Toyota dealership. Based on the location of this store my guess is it’s not bigger than their Avenues location. If it does turn out to be bigger than that would be pretty cool. Update: I got a bit more information from my contact at Go Sport. The location is not going to be larger than the Avenues branch but it will have a different newer look. They’re hoping to have it open and ready by mid October.

Mustard Burger – The New Burger Joint in Town

I do love burger places but not every one of them gets every thing right, there are a few places that get it right, the right type of meat with the perfect bun. This time around I tried a double cheese burger and cheese fries from Mustard Burger and right now they are only available for pick up from Tilal and delivery. The Burger is simple and tastes really good, the buns are really good too, very few places get the buns right but Mustard Burger gets it perfect and I loved it. I ate the double cheese burger and it hit the spot, sometimes if I have food late at night it ends up causing heartburn if its too oily but in this case it was perfect. I would recommend it to everyone, sometimes their phone lines get busy but its worth the wait. Choowy Goowy Restaurant

The Choowy Goowy restaurant is currently open this week at 52 Degrees with a small menu as a pre-soft launch kind of thing. They will be closing again next week before opening up once again but with a fully featured menu but for now you can pass by and get a taste of some of their dishes. I just got back from Bahrain today so I still haven’t had the chance to pass by but Fahad did and he loved the food. They’re open after 5:30PM and you can check out their current trial menu [Here]

Sneak Peek: 52 Degrees

Last night I posted a sneak peek of the new Choowy Goowy Cafe that’s opening up at 52 Degrees and today Nat passed by and was able to send me pictures of 52 Degrees as well. The place so far looks really cool and that has a lot to do with the fact it was designed by the Kuwaiti architect Ahmed Al-Baghli, the same guy behind the beautiful MELENZANÈ. Nat on the other hand created the 52 Degrees identity. You can check out some sneak peek pictures below, they are soft launching tonight. For those of you who don’t know what 52 Degrees is, it’s basically a department store that will be filled with Kuwaiti products and creations from clothing and accessories to food and desserts.

Sneak Peek: Choowy Goowy Café

Choowy Goowy Cafe is currently under construction but it looks pretty cool so far. It will be opening up at 52 Degrees by the first week of February. On the other hand 52 Degrees is having their soft launch tonight (Sunday) at Tilal Complex.

New My Toy Store

Last night I was checking out the Tamiya cars Frog and Hornet online and figured I would pass by the Tamiya dealer in Kuwait, My Toy to check and see if they had them. Today out of the blue my friend calls me up and asks me if I wanted to pass by the launch of the new My Toy store in Shuwaikh. Turns out they opened up a branch at the trendy Tilal Complex and the official opening was today so after work I passed by to check it out. The new store is small but the location is really great and they had this huge indoor race track setup in the basement which I think RC fans will love. I spotted the Frog and Hornet on display but it was too packed to check out properly so I will have to go back this weekend. I used to love My Toy as a kid in the 80’s so its great to see the brand still alive. Now someone please bring Kids “R” Us back to life!
