Jubail Commercial Port was established in 1397 AH (1976 AD) and all of its facilities were completed in 1400 AH (1979 AD). The port holds an area of about 4.125.940 m2, making it one of the largest ports' projects of its kind. The location of the port was carefully chosen, due to the depth of the water adjacent to it.
