Umm Qasr Port North

Umm Qasr port is a major commercial port in Iraq which is operated by Iraq port authority. The port is located at the south of Khor Zubair where it joins Khor Abdullah. The port is located 200 meters away from the border of Kuwait and the water way is shared between the two countries. The distance from the port to the Iraqi city of Basra is approximately 100 kilometers. The port has 22 berths with maximum draft of 10.5 meters in high tide.
