Dubai's Emirates NBD says 100m shares were bought by 254 unique investors

Emirates NBD said the 100 million-plus shares recently sold were bought by 254 unique investors. In an update on Dubai Financial Market, the bank said the largest purchase by one single investor was 10,116,892 shares on May 28, the date when the transactions took place. "This increase in purchase volume coincides with Emirates NBD’s inclusion in the ‘MSCI Emerging Markets Standard Index’ and Emirates NBD Bank PJSC confirms that a large number of these purchases were made by Emerging Markets Index Tracking Funds," the bank said in its update.
