Opening
Many consider Bayonne, France the home of fine chocolate which is where L’Atelier Du Chocolat was born. The brand was launched by Joseph and Magdeleine Andrieu in 1951. The brand remained small in terms of geographic presence until 1995. The grandsons of the founders expanded the brand by enhancing the brand image and store interior. The brand currently operates 2 locations outside of France, one in Kuwait and the other in Qatar, and 110 locations in France.
