Orient Overseas (International) Limited (OOIL) is a Hong Kong based container shipping and logistics company founded in 1947. It has worldwide presence with over 120 offices in more than 100 major cities with their international container transportation, logistics, and terminal company business. Also, it has 59 vessels with TEU operating capacity of 733,580. OOIL is a member of OCEAN Alliance where CMA CGM/APL, Cosco Shipping and Evergreen Line are affiliated. Also, the business was acquired by Cosco Shipping Line in 2018. Maritime Alliances enables slot-sharing and vessel sharing agreements among its major partners. Furthermore, OOIL merged with Cosco Shipping Line in 2018. The company has business presence in Kuwait through Kanoo Shipping (Kuwait) C/O Al Rashed International Shipping Co.
