Fog Cutter Capital Group is the owner of the FatBurger and Buffalo’s Café restaurant brands. The brand, FatBurger, was launched in 1947 in Los Angles, USA by Lovi Yancey. Lovi owned and managed the brand since 1947 until the late 1990s. The company currently operates more than 170 locations worldwide.

Fatburger Opens Second Location in Qatar

Fatburger has opened a second Doha, Qatar, location in the food court of the city’s brand new shopping center, the Gulf Mall. This will be franchisee Khalifa Alsowaidi’s second Fatburger location in the city where he will continue to bring the burger brand’s selections to locals. With more than 150 locations in 32 countries, Fatburger is dedicated to expanding internationally. “After the massive success of our first Fatburger location in Doha, we wanted to expand our presence in the city,” says CEO of Fatburger, Andy Wiederhorn. “As a brand new shopping center filled with a wide range of stores, the Gulf Mall is an ideal location filled with shoppers who can stop by and choose from any of the appetizing items on our menu.” The new Fatburger is located at Al Shamal Road, Al Gharafa, Doha, Qatar.

Fatburger opens first Doha, Qatar location

Fatburger recently announced the opening of its first location in Doha, Qatar, in The Pearl, a tourist and recreational destination. The new Fatburger, owned by franchisee Khalifa Al Sowaidi of Al Sowaidi Investment, is located at Madina Centrale, The Pearl, Building No. 8, Unit 71. Fatburger now has more than 150 units in 32 countries. "Qatar is a great market with huge potential for Fatburger and we feel honored that our brand can be a part of the culture of The Pearl, an island that represents Qatar’s rich past in the pearl industry," CEO Andy Wiederhorn said in the release. "We are excited to partner with Al Sowaidi Investment and we anticipate great success for this location."

FatBurger opens at The Avenues

UFC invites all burger addicts to experience the taste of our authentic and rustic American burgers. After a long wait from all burger lovers, Universal Food Company (UFC) announced that they have launched their third branch of the famous restaurant chain, FatBurger, at the Avenues Mall. The new branch is located in the Second Avenue (Food World) where FatBurger staff had the pleasure of serving their delicious plates to all burger addicts at the opening day which was on January 15, 2014. Review : Fat Burger (Burj Jassim)

تجربة جميلة .. مطعم رائع .. اكل لذيذ .. موظفين بشوشين هذا بإختصار كل الكلام اللي ودي اقوله بهالبوست لكن لابد من تفاصيل اكثر وصور اكثر علشان تعيشون معاي تجربتي بفرعهم الثاني والجديد في برج جاسم Fat Burger تلقينا دعوه لتجربة مطعم وهذا اليوم كان مخصص فقط للمدونين بصراحه ماجربت فات برجر من قبل فكنت رايحة وحدي يوعانة علشان بتلذذ بالبرجر بما اني دخلت من الباب الخلفي للمجمع فكان اول شي شفته منطقة العاب الاطفال واستانست كون المطاعم الجديدة اغلبها صار يعني بالكبار اكثر وتناسى زباينة من الاطفال وهالشي اكيد بيفرح الاسره ويخليهم يتمتعون اكثر بزيارتهم للمطعم علامات جميلة نفس الاشارات اللي نشوفها بالشوارع بس بعلامات لذيذة .. فكره حلوة من المطعم ويمكن مدخلين هالفكره مع الديكور الاسود والابيض .. شارع وعلامات !! ممكن :) وايد حبيت الديكور والالوان وطريقة القعدات .. المكان مريح وشرح معلومة يديدة اول مره ادري انه فات برجر قددددديم من سنة 1952 !! والحين وصلنا لأختيار الاكل طلبنا وعطونا رقم 4 الحلو انه نقدر نشوف طلبنا يسوونه جدامنا وبصراحه الريحة تيوع بكل المدونات بتشوفون صورته يحليله .. يموووت على التصوير كل ماشاف كاميرا قام يكح علشان يصورونه لوول خوش ويتر مخصصين مكان للكاتشب والصوص وبأكثر من نوع يم يم وصلت طلباتنا Skin cheese fries وايد لذيذ انصحكم فيه Fat fries بالنسبة لي احب البطاط فكل انواع البطاط مفضل بالنسبة لي يم يم Baby Fat Burger with Cheese, Lattuce, Tomato & Mayo حدها خفيفة وناطعه وصج تتلذذون فيها تحسون اللحم فريش والساندويتش ترفه Grilled Chicken with Cheese, Lattuce, Tomato & Mayo هم كانت وايد لذيذة بس بالنسبة لي البرجر حبيتها اكثر يمكن لأن ياية وخاطري اهجم على برجر لوول Chocolate Milk Shake + Strawberry Shake كان شي خيالي لازم تجربونة الافتتاح الرسمي لفات برجر (برج جاسم) راح يكون يوم الثلاثاء 25/10/2011 لا تترددون لتجربة مطعم يقدم برجر طيب لذيذ وفريش صورة لستاف فات برجر برج جاسم Thanks Fat Burger & Pink Coffee team For inviting me to taste the most delicious burger i ever ate ♥ Fat Burger FB (Link) Twitter (@FATBURGER_KW)

First Impression: Fatburger

Tonight I was invited to a tasting at the soon to open Fatburger. I hadn’t had a Fatburger before and I honestly only heard about it around a year ago after watching the great documentary Hamburger America. In the documentary they spoke about various popular burger places in America and Fatburger was one of them. I had the double burger tonight and thought it was great. It was juicy and meaty and I loved that. The senior vice president of Fatburger was there and he turned out to be a great guy in an incredibly colorful and flashy Hawaiian shirt. I meet a lot of burger lovers all the time but I’ve never met anyone into burgers more than me until today. The guy is just incredibly passionate about burgers and he’s been having burgers a lot longer than I’ve been alive. He knows it all and he’s seen it all. I mean he used to have Fatburger back in the 50s when they first opened so he was really there from the start. Just a few interesting details I picked up from him. Since they want the local experience to be exactly like the US experience they’re importing all their ingredients from the US. That includes the beef, fries and even ketchup. The Heinz ketchup that’s regionally produced is different from the US version. The color is bright red while in the US its a dark red but most importantly the regionally produced Heinz is sweeter. Since they prefer the flavor of the US Heinz ketchup they’re importing it directly to Kuwait. Imagine that, they could have gone with the local Heinz but they’re instead getting it imported from the US. To me that shows how much they care. You’re going to have the exact same burger experience as if you walked into a Fatburger in LA. If you’re interested in trying out their burgers they’re opening next week in Fintas at Spoons. It’s easy to find since its on the main Fintas sea side road opposite Pizza Express. Good stuff.
