Phat Fashions opens three UAE stores

Dubai: US-based Phat Fashions has opened three flagship stores in the UAE, and plans to open 17 more across the region. Phat Farm and Baby Phat stores are "tapping into the retail explosion in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the changing lifestyles, and growing popularity of fashion forward apparel across the world," the company said. The stores are located in the Mall of Emirates and Deira City Centre in Dubai and Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi. "We are excited about bringing the world of Phat Fashions to the region," Saif Saeed Ghayathi, chief of the partner company, said. Expansion Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons, Phat Fashions founder and chief executive officer said: "This new venture is just the continuation of building Phat Farm and Baby Phat into true global brands. "Now we plan to expand the Phat Fashions aura throughout the UAE, Egypt, Kuwait as well as China and Japan, and other Far East locations over the next few years." The regional stores would offer the full range of fashion and accessories for men, women and children that are available in the Phat Farm and Baby Phat flagship store in New York, the company said.
