Renovation / Refurbishment
The Fauchon brand was founded in 1886 in Paris by Auguste Fauchon. After the death of Auguste Fauchon in 1952, the company was sold several times throughout the years. The brand expanded dramatically and renovated its branding under Laurent Adamowicz. The rapid growth however drove the company to near bankruptcy in 2004. Michel Ducros took the helm as CEO in 2004 and changed the brand strategy to focus on profitable outlets rather than increasing outlet count. The new strategy shifted the company’s balance sheets from losses to profits since then.
